CLOVER VALLEY SCHOOL

(also known as CLOVER CREEK SCHOOL)

(Picture unavailable. Unless someone out there has one ???)

By 1881 the Clover Valley School District had been formed. The school was put there through the efforts of Sam Jones and was located along the old Bartlett Springs Road on Sam Jones' side of Clover Creek. It was small; about 12 x 16 and only had a few students. When the Clover Valley School closed in 1911, the land reverted back to Sam Jones and the building was moved to the former Sam Jones home, where it was used for a garage. The Clover Creek School District joined the Upper Lake Union School District in 1920.
